Job Description
Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant / Architect
Yrs of Exp 10-14 yrs
Work location - HyderabadSAP PO Responsibilities
- Complete responsibility holding of SAP PI/PO system Administrative BASIS activities.
- Understanding of Landscape Architectures and providing best practices & Approaches to clients. Lead the project as an Architect.
- Perform User administration and role/profile assignment.
- Perform Role Creation, Modification and Full trouble shooting support for the users authorization failures in SAP PO applications and resolving the Security issues and support in integration testing of Roles/Profiles.
- Maintain the integrity of the SAP PO environment by managing the SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS) to ensure all configuration and development objects, transported properly.
- Distribute the online SAP user workload, monitor, and manage the SAP background job workload.
- Perform OSS / SAP Service Marketplace: Searching notes & creating OSS messages for the respective queries to improve the Performance. Software download, Maintain System Data, License Key & Maintenance Certificate, Developer & object registrations and connection maintenance etc.
- Starting and Stopping SAP PO instance/(s).
- Preventive Maintenance activities - Support Pack/Plug-in implementations, Kernel upgrades, OSS note applications and to apply support pack for Java using JSPM/SUM.
- SAPGUI/SAPLGPAD troubleshooting and maintenance/upgrades/installations.
- Prepare and maintain system documentation, procedures, and standards.
- Perform SAP Database Administration Space management, database reorganization, design and implement backup and restore strategy, maintain database security, administer database performance, database problem determination and resolution, etc.
- Perform SAP PO Installation, Post installation, client administration, System Refresh and Post-Refresh activities as required.
- Perform parameter modification, Buffer, memory management, performance tuning and troubleshoot.
- Perform SAP Licensing Identify inactive user, user classification and prepare System Measurement result for SAP Global Audit team.
WebMethods Responsibilities:
- Good knowledge of webMethods product suite covering the following components Developer , Integration Server, Broker, Trading Networks, My webMethods Server (MWS), Designer.
Experience in at least one of the following versions required - x, 7.x or 8.x.9.X and above - Should be strong in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) , Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) development and design .
- Worked on one of more of the following webMethods adapters JDBC or SAP or similar
- Experience in EDI, Flat and XML standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- B2B Integration experience
- Good-to-Have Knowledge of Unix and s cripting required
- Basic database and SQL knowledge to write ad-hoc queries
- Experience in communication protocols like AS2, SFTP etc.
- Core Java, Java Script
- Good to have experience developing web services and an understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) .
- Good to have experience in working with XML, Schemas design and implementation.
Must have:
- Experience in implementing enterprise integration solutions using SAP PI/PO integration tools
- Must have working experience, with SAP PI/PO Single stack (Java/J2EE) experience.
Minimum qualifications
- Graduate or postgraduate in B.Tech, IT or MCA.
- Prior working experience with SAP BASIS with PI/PO Administrative Activities (Mandatory)
Preferred qualifications
- Working experience on SAP BASIS with PI/PO (Mandatory) & CPI (Optional), WebMethods (Mandatory)
- SAP Certifications
- Good management, analytic, problem solving & interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, Positive outlook & result oriented
- Strong communication skills
- Good knowledge of available IT systems/tools and always keep up to date with new developments within the IT industry
