Senior DevOps Engineer position
Required Skill & Qualifications:

Required Skills:
- B.Tech/M Tech/MBA/BE/MCA Degree
- Expert in CI/CD Pipeline setup, utilizing Jenkins and AWS resources including: ECS, ECR, Lambda, VPC, ALB/SSL, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, CloudFront.
- Expert in handling multiple environments in the CI/CD pipeline, from Development to Production.
- Working knowledge of Ruby on Rails and Python Flask applications
- DevOps engineer with around 10+ Years of experience in IT industry comprising of Systems Administration and Change Management, Software Configuration Management (SCM), Build and Release management (CI/CD) and Process Engineering.
- Strong experience in automating CI/CD & application deployment using various tools like GitLab, Jenkins, and AWS.
- Setup and write scripts to deploy applications on Dev, QA, production environment in OnPrem & AWS (preferred).
- Extensively worked on CI/CD pipeline for code deployment by engaging different tools (Git, Jenkins) in the process right from developer code check-in to Production deployment
- Experience in micro services application deployment on Kubernetes, Spring boot etc
- Maintenance and Vulnerability Management of infrastructure and CI/CD environments.
- Extensive experience in developing and maintaining build, deployment scripts for test, Staging and Production environments using ANT, Maven, Shell and Perl Scripts.
- Constantly update & upgrade the CI/CD as well as AWS/Customer deployment of software application based on scale/performance/stability including sizing of application infrastructure components.
- Maintained high Availability clustered and standalone server environments and refined automation component with scripting and configuration management (using tools like Ansible, etc.,.).
- Experience in working on version controller tools like GitHub (GIT), Subversion (SVN) and software builds tools like Jenkins, Apache Maven, Apache Ant.
- Work with QA team and production support team to ensure the system operating at premium condition.
- Experienced in Automating, Configuring and deploying instances on AWS environments and onPrem
- Experience in Agile SDLC methodologies and tools. Good knowledge of SDLC
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must
- Expertise in creating Development and testing environment from scratch
- Docker deployment in development and testing environment
- Extensively worked on CI/CD pipeline for code deployment by engaging different tools (Git, Jenkins) in the process right from developer code check-in to Production deployment
- Experience with configuration management software Terraform/Ansible
- Working knowledge of databases (NoSQL and SQL),
- Hands-on experience in using build servers like AWS Build and Release Pipelines or Jenkins.
- Knowledge of RSCM concepts (code lines, branching, merging, integration, versioning, etc.)
- Configure and maintain Version Control and Bug Tracking Software
- Design & Implement reliable build/test automation framework
- Familiar with EC2, Cloud watch, Cloud Formation, Terraform and managing security groups on AWS.
- Wrote python scripts to manage AWS resources from API calls and also worked with AWS CLI.
- Wrote Ansible playbooks to launch AWS instances and used Ansible to manage web applications, configuration files, used mount points and packages.
- In depth Knowledge of AWS cloud service like Compute, Network, Storage and Identity & access management.
- Hands-on Experience in configuration of Network architecture on AWS with VPC, Subnets, Internet gateway, NAT, Route table, Security aspects.
- Responsible for ensuring Systems & Network Security, maintaining performance and setting up monitoring using Cloud Watch and Nagios .
Responsibilities:
- Create development and test environments from scratch in AWS for CI/CD.
- Develop Release Management framework and implement standards, processes, and controls for configuration and release activities within a fast pace Agile/SCRUM environment
- Admin level expertise in Git and exposure to predominant branching strategies.
- Architect and implement metrics required to bring transparency in to the migration of code from development, testing, staging, through production
- Maintain development branches within code repository to ensure consistency of code check-ins and applicability of related branches and run merges of code across branches
- Design, implement and configure build environment for projects including automated builds, packaging and installation processes.
- Conduct source code promotion activities between environments from Development to Production.
- Execute and troubleshoot manual/automated builds, identify the root cause for a failed build and resolve the issues.
- Configure and maintain Build Server
- Manage daily responsibilities of supporting the build and release needs of agile scrum teams
- Configure and maintain Version Control and Bug Tracking Software
- Design & Implement reliable build/test automation framework
- Oversee the service reliability and software quality control for releases
- Manage timely resolution of all critical and/or complex problems with the different platforms in all environments including the necessary communication to stakeholders
- Manage all aspects of the end to end release process.
- Ensures coordination of Development and test teams
