Job Summary:
The Test Lead is responsible for all aspects of testing throughout the systems development life cycle , from requirements gathering through implementation. He or she needs to be a subject matter expert to identify , develop , and implement techniques / strategies to test plans and test cases in accordance with development teams.

Job Description:
The roles and responsibilities of the Test Lead include the following:
? Working closely with clients and ensuring client satisfaction
? Collecting non - functional requirements and converting them into performance test plans
? Creating and executing performance test strategy
? Developing data - driven performance test scripts to help validate performance of applications / products based on requirements
? Working closely with the development team and participating in planning , estimating , scheduling , retrospectives , and any other team activities
? Adhering to compliance procedures and internal / operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards , requirements , and policies

Desired Skills and Experience:
? Education??BCA / MCA / BTech / BE (any specialization)
? Experience??Minimum 6 - 8 years of experience in testing and quality assurance tasks , specifically for software built using standard Web technologies such as Java , .Net , HTML , JavaScript , Flash , etc
? Proficiency in SQL and database testing
? Experience in QC testing tools , Agile environment (SCRUM) , and basic UNIX commands and features
? Understanding of software development life cycle , quality philosophies , and principles
? Experience in development and testing of Flash Web application solutions
? Having a recognized Software Testing Certification (eg , IIST , SQE , ASQ , and QAI) will be an added benefit
? Should be a self - starter and capable of operating on minimal management oversight
? Ability to work under pressure to meet agreed deadlines
