Desired Candidate Profile

The applicant will be implementing new functionality for Restful API for internal in-house components incl. Core Banking Solution and for external 3rd party applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and improve new backend services functionality in Desktop Banking Application and related database layer
- Maintain and extend existing backend services
- Collaborate with other developers, QA and DevOps engineers to ensure best practices, continual operation and support for quality software
- Proactively provide code review feedback to other software engineers, considering both style and implementation.
- Provide thoughtful and comprehensive documentation and testing for features before shipping them

Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years of experience as a software developer
- Experiences with following languages: C#, T-SQL
- Excellent knowledge of .NET Framework and .NET Core
- Experience with micro services architecture and Restful APIs
- Experience with Git
- Experience with MS SQL (PostgreSQL is bonus)
- Understanding and usage Design Patterns and SOLID principals
- Solid debugging, optimization and problem-solving skills
- Ability to write clear and maintainable code that other developers can easily understand
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes will be a bonus
The client is from Berlin, Germany and there is Contract to Hire option & potential to work onsite.
