Job Description

Position: Statutory Compliance Officer
Location: Mahalaxmi, Mumbai
Employment Type: Full-time

SalarKey Responsibilities:
Provident Fund (PF) & Professional Tax (PT)
Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) & Tax Collected at Source (TCS):
Ensure TDS/TCS deduction, compliance, and timely filing of returns (24Q, 26Q, 27Q, etc.).
Conduct reconciliation of TDS/TCS with Form 26AS.
Address notices/discrepancies from the Income Tax Department.
GST Compliance (Including GST 99C):
File GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, etc.).
Ensure GST reconciliation between books of accounts and GST portal.
Handle GST audits, assessments, and respond to tax authorities.
Ensure compliance with GST 99C provisions and implement necessary changes.
