Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports, focusing on creating various charts and visualizations to represent data effectively.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into functional and aesthetic visualizations.
- Optimize and enhance existing reports and dashboards for performance and user experience.
- Conduct data modeling and transformation using Power Query and DAX to ensure accurate and meaningful visualizations.
- Implement best practices for data visualization and reporting, ensuring consistency and clarity across all dashboards.
- Provide training and support to end-users on how to use Power BI tools effectively.
- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and industry trends to continuously improve data visualization strategies.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 years of proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of dashboards and reports.
- Proficiency in creating various types of charts (e.g., bar, line, pie, scatter, etc.) and visualizations.
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and experience with DAX and Power Query.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with business stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SQL, Python, Databricks, and data warehousing concepts.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles.
