Job Description
We seek a Salesforce Architect who shares our passion for innovation and change. This role is critical to helping our business partners evolve and adapt to consumers' personalized expectations in this new technological era.

Architectural Design / Oversight
- Responsible for technical architecture for multiple work streams
- Responsible for owning and leading technical discussions with the client
- Has a bigger scale and big-picture knowledge awareness and ownership. I.e. owns
- architecture patterns, practices, and principles not limited to Salesforce core only,
- but touching all the different clouds, integration, security, data, and DevOps
- Contributes towards Practice Development within Globant
- Able to work across multiple projects simultaneously
- Primarily focuses on design activities, but can either transition into a Tech Lead role or reduce assignment on Architectural Design / Oversight
Technical Lead responsibilities
- Responsible for technical architecture for multiple work streams

Communication
- Able to communicate clearly and concisely in verbal and written fashion
- Explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Adapts communication to the audience
- Able to challenge the client and justify their own viewpoint, Able to lead difficult conversations with the client
- Can influence clients' architects and decision makers on the best approaches to (not limited): principles, patterns, investment, tools, licenses Presentation
- Leads the design of client-facing presentations and delegates ownership of elements of the presentation to team members
- Able to present in an organized, coherent fashion and adapt their presentation style to their audience
- Able to present in client-facing sessions such as Design Authorities, providing clear rationale for design decisions and responding to the client challenges
- Able to respond to feedback and tailor messaging
- Audience can range from technical people to C-level stakeholders, a wider scale than
Technical Lead Collaboration
- Establishes a collaborative environment with the team and client
- Leads and delegates tasks in an assertive and effective way, while not neglecting the review and assurance processes
- Leadership Is a role model for junior team members and provides mentorship
- Defines roles and responsibilities for the team and enables others to take responsibility for tasks and activities
- Delegates effectively, quality-assuring the configuration completed by the team
- Takes ownership of all technical areas (e.g. DevOps, Integration) and supports the development of others in this area Knowledge
- Leads Globant internal initiatives such as enablement sessions, the graduate programme, and mentoring
- Drives adoption of industry best practices within specific areas
Delivery
- Takes accountability for the overall solution design and build of complex engagements
- Actively plan design, build, and test activities, working with the Project Lead to identify and mitigate risks to the project Confident in Agile delivery in large-scale, complex engagements
Commercial
- Adheres to administrative compliance (e.g. timesheets)
- Leads the identification and scoping/ estimation of additional scope and activities Supports the Solutions team with the solutioning and estimation of new opportunities and pre-sales discussions with prospective clients
- Provides oversight and assurance of the scoping and estimation of projects being supported by Technical Leads
Technical
- Approximately 10+ years of experience
- A Salesforce expert with excellent hands-on experience in Salesforce Platform, Configuration, Integration, and Customization.
- Must have knowledge of Sales, Service, and Experience cloud. Other clouds will be an added advantage.
- Able to produce clear solution design documentation
- Confident in presenting designs in client forums (e.g. Design Authorities)
- Recommended Certs: CSA, CAA
