Position: Sr. Net Developer
Location: Remote
Duration: (6 months contract)
Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and technically strong Full-Stack Software Engineer to lead the end-to-end development and modernization of the Stream application. This role involves significant hands-on coding, architecture design, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with product managers and QA professionals within an agile team structure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a cross-functional team in developing scalable, high-performance web applications using C# .NET, SQL, and Angular.
- Refactor and modernize legacy code from .NET Framework 4.7+ to .NET 8.0 while maintaining service continuity.
- Design and implement robust APIs and backend services using best practices in software architecture and security.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver features that enhance user experience.
- Champion unit testing and code quality using XUnit or equivalent frameworks.
- Conduct code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and promote engineering best practices within the team.
- Oversee the full development lifecycle, including planning, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Coordinate sprint planning and contribute to agile ceremonies to ensure timely delivery of quality software.
Required Qualifications:
- 5-9 years of experience in full-stack software development.
- Expertise in C# .NET, including both .NET 8.0 and .NET Framework 4.7+.
- Strong experience with SQL databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server.
- Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks; Angular v17+ preferred.
- Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks, preferably XUnit.
- Strong understanding of software development principles, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
- Proven experience leading agile development teams, including mentoring and technical guidance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with monolith-to-microservices migration strategies.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
- Experience working with tools like Git, Jira, and Azure DevOps.
