Job Description

Position: Sales Manager Chennai CAD/CAM (Siemens NX)
Industry: Engineering Software / PLM Solutions
Focus: Driving sales of Siemens NX CAD, CAM, and related solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and target manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, and industrial companies that could benefit from Siemens NX.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with decision-makers (design engineers, production managers, IT heads, etc.).
  • Solution Selling: Understand clients design/manufacturing workflows to recommend NX modules that fit their needs (CAD for design, CAM for manufacturing, CAE for simulation).
  • Partnership with Siemens: Coordinate with Siemens channel partners and technical teams for demos, proof of concepts, and post-sales support.
  • Market Intelligence: Keep track of competitors like CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks, Mastercam, etc.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software (especially Siemens NX).
  • Proven B2B software sales experience.
  • Ability to understand engineering design/manufacturing processes.
  • Technical background in mechanical engineering or manufacturing is often preferred.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Performance Metrics

  • Sales revenue achieved vs. targets.
  • Number of new accounts acquired.
  • Customer satisfaction and retention rates.
