Job Description
- As a Senior QA Automation Engineer at GlobalLogic, your role will involve: - Designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end mobile automation test suites for Android/iOS applications. - Implementing and maintaining unit/component test frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library) specifically for React Native. - Executing performance testing using tools like k6 or equivalent for ensuring optimal application performance. - Performing contract testing with Pact (or similar tools) to validate API/microservice interactions. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, design) to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications. - Integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) to streamline the testing process. - Conducting exploratory, regression, usability, and accessibility testing to identify and address any issues. - Debugging, analyzing failures, and working closely with engineering teams for quick resolutions. - Mentoring and guiding junior QA engineers on best practices in mobile test automation. In terms of qualifications, you should possess: - 7-11 years of QA experience with a strong focus on mobile test automation. - Hands-on experience in mobile automation frameworks such as XCTest, Appium, or equivalent tools. - Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native testing frameworks like Jest and React Testing Library. - Experience with API testing involving REST, JSON, Postman, and Swagger. - Strong knowledge of CI/CD integration for test automation. - Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
