PL SQL Support @ Quinnox

Job Description

• Leading and managing the team for L2/L3 support for production systems and applications
• Monitor system performance and contribute to performance tuning initiatives.
• Estimating effort, planning sprints, and managing deliverables
• Conducting code reviews and enforcing best practices
• Collaborating with architects, QA, and business stakeholders
• Driving continuous improvement and innovation in database solutions
• Work experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Familiarity with incident, problem, and change management processes (ITIL is a plus)

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills

• - Ability to read and understand legacy code and complex stored procedures
• - Debugging complex PL/SQL logic and resolving production issues
• - Perform impact analysis, root cause analysis, and recommend solutions or workarounds
• - Designing scalable and secure database solutions
• - Translating business requirements into technical specs

Communication & Soft Skills

• Explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Writing clear documentation and technical design specs
• Managing stakeholder expectations and project risks

Core Technical Expertise

• Advanced PL/SQL - Writing optimized, modular, and reusable code (procedures, packages, triggers)
• SQL Performance Tuning - Ensures high-performing queries and efficient resource usage
• Oracle Database Internals - Deep understanding of architecture, indexing, partitioning, and storage
• Oracle Tools - Proficiency in TOAD, SQL Developer, SQL*Loader, OEM, AWR, and Explain Plan
• Development Tools - Git/Github, Jenkins for managing codebase, collaboration and deployments
• Ticketing Systems - JIRA, ServiceNow, Confluence
