Job Description
Position Summary-
The purpose of Production Support and maintenance -
Senior Developer is to manage incidents, troubleshoot and make small enhancement to applications within Investment Management in production environment.
The position requires flexibility to work in shift-based model.
Job Responsibilities
- Work actively with team members in Triaging, Troubleshooting and Analysis of production issues.
- Incident Management (Incident resolution, stakeholder communication, analysis and action items).
- Provide response and resolution within defined SLAs.
- Implement bug fixes and minor enhancements.
- Act as a shift lead as and when needed and be in charge for every change in production environment.
- Handle additional tasks as per business need.
- Develop and maintain system support documentation and processes.
- Provide technical direction and mentor Junior developers in support and maintenance activities (2-4 people).
Requirements and Qualifications
- 4-6 years of progressive experience in production support (L2 or L3 support) and maintenance.
- Extensive knowledge of SQL Server and SSIS.
- Experience working in any job scheduler (preferable Tidal).
- Basic knowledge of .Net.
- Experience in using Object Oriented Programming (OOP) technologies.
- Experience working as a direct point of contact with the business and/or key stakeholders.
- Experience in collaborating with Team Members across locations (Onshore & Offshore) and Vendor teams.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills with strong interpersonal & influencing skills.
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- SSRS knowledge is nice-to-have.
Education & Certifications
- Engineering Graduate/MCA in Computer Science/Information Science or Equivalent
- Knowledge of Investment Management domain or Financial Services would be a plus.
- Agile certifications would be a plus.
Please Note-
- Willing to work in shifts (24/6 support) including Saturdays.
- Shift rotation every 2 weeks shall be done within the 3 shifts.
- Holidays shall be based on the US Holiday calendar.
- Candidate is required to work in hybrid model.
