Validation/ Oracle SQL Test Engineer
Job description

Responsibilities
- Design and implement tests that push our applications to their limits.
- Build and run thoughtful tests that match our timelines and help catch issues early.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate performance, functionality, and compliance.
- Analyze test results and identify defects or deviations from specifications. Collaborate with product development teams to understand requirements and design validation tests.
- Help level up our automation game by designing and adding meaningful automated tests.
- Keep the team in sync by sharing test progress, results, and insights clearly and consistently.
- Stay on top of your test documentation and ensure it's up-to-date as products evolve.
- Test with a clear understanding of how our applications are meant to perform.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, including building automation tools and frameworks.
- Proven experience testing web applications integrated with SQL databases and Java-based application servers.
- Experienced in testing SQL files for format and data per client requirements
- Experience in writing SQL queries.
- Strong Java skills for building and maintaining test automation solutions.
- Confident troubleshooting bugs and writing clear defect reports.
