Cloud Support Engineer @ Sonata Software

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Provide after-hours coverage for US operations for infrastructure, networking, and end-user support.
• Monitor and respond to alerts, tickets, and incidents.
• Escalate critical issues following established runbooks and escalation paths.

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with FortiGate firewalls (VPN, routing, policies, SDWAN)
• Strong understanding of Wireless networking (Merkai, FortiAPs, etc.)
• Working knowledge of Azure Infrastructure and networking (VNets, vWAN, ExpressRoute, Private DNS Resolver)
• Solid understanding of DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and Radius Authentication
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, and Azure VMs)
• Familiar with Windows Server and desktop troubleshooting for end-user issues.
• Capable of creating and managing user accounts, password reset, and Office365 administration.
• Experience working within a ticketing system such as ServiceNow.
