Job Description
Position: We are seeking a skilled QA Analyst / Test Engineer / Test Lead with experience in Duck Creek Technologies (DCT) suite, including Policy.
Experience: 3 to 12 Yrs.
Location: Greater Noida, Pune, Mumbai & Hyderabad
Role: The candidate will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test strategies and test cases for Duck Creek implementations, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand business requirements, rating algorithms, product configurations, and workflows in Duck Creek Policy / Billing / Claims systems.
- Prepare detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on functional specifications and rating manuals.
- Perform manual and automation testing of Duck Creek components including PAS, UI, batch jobs, and API integrations.
- Execute regression testing and out-of-the-box (OOB) functionality coverage across Lines of Business (LOBs).
- Identify, log, and track defects through tools like Azure DevOps, ALM, and work closely with developers for resolution.
- Support data setup, rating validation, and integration testing between Duck Creek and downstream/upstream systems.
- Contribute to test automation framework design and maintenance using tools like Playwright.
- Participate in daily stand ups, defect triage meetings, and sprint ceremonies (Agile/Scrum environment).
- Ensure proper test evidence collection, reporting, and sign-off for UAT and SIT cycles.
- Support performance testing and test data management activities if required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Duck Creek OnDemand (DCOD) environments.
- Exposure to GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps automation integration.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter is an added advantage.
- Experience in Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodology.
Good to have:
- ISTQB or insurance certification (like INS 21/23/24 or CPCU) is a plus.
