Senior Automation Test Engineer @ Coforge

Job Description

• We are seeking a Quality Engineer with a strong background in testing web and mobile applications, particularly in the online banking domain.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with automation frameworkseither UI or APIand a passion for delivering high-quality, secure, and user-friendly digital banking experiences.
• Experience with low-code/no-code automation platforms like Testim is a plus.
• Youll be joining a fast-paced quality engineering team that values precision, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automation.
• Proficiency in at least one area of automation: UI automation using frameworks like Selenium or Cypress, mobile automation using Appium, or API automation using tools such as Postman or RestAssured.
• Experience testing both web UI and mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Experience working with SQL databases for test data validation and backend verification.
• Familiarity with AI fundamentals and AI usage in software testing Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate issues and collaborate across teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience in the banking or fintech industry is a plus.
