Job Description

Key Roles & Responsibilities


The Billing Coordinator is essential for ensuring accurate and timely client invoicing and contributing to overall financial efficiency.

  • Invoicing & Billing (Primary Focus): Generate, submit, and send client invoices and adjustments accurately and on time. Ensure completeness of submissions and maintain updated billing records. Assist with submissions via various client portals.
  • Issue Resolution: Respond to and resolve internal/external billing inquiries promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other teams to ensure accuracy and proactively fix issues.
  • Process Improvement & Reporting: Identify inefficiencies, utilize technology to streamline processes, and review existing procedures to reduce financial risks. Generate billing reports and analytics for internal stakeholders and financial planning.
  • Administrative Support: Provide back-up support for team colleagues and perform other assigned duties.

Candidate Required Profile

Education & Experience

  • Education: University or College Degree in Business, Commerce, or Accounting.
  • Experience: 6 to 9 years of experience in a financial role is required.
  • Asset: Previous Billing experience will be considered a strong asset.

Key Skills & Competencies


  • Technical: Intermediate Excel skills (proficiency in VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and formulas) to analyze data.
  • Communication: Bilingual communication with excellent written and verbal skills is essential.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong skills in identifying issues, making informed decisions, and utilizing analytical proficiency with systems.
  • Work Style: Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, and display a strong Customer-Centric Approach.
  • Analytical: Skilled in Process Analysis & Mapping and Data Analysis to measure the impact of improvements.
