Job Description
- Design and implement banking architecture, select banking partners, and establish operational processes.
- Evaluate working capital and trade limits for each business vertical; liaise with banks to set up and manage limits.
- Coordinate with internal teams and banking partners to ensure seamless execution of trade operations, including issuance and renewal of Letters of Credit (LCs), Bank Guarantees (BGs), and LC payments.
- Identify and facilitate liquidity solutions such as forfaiting, factoring, or discounting based on trade instruments.

- Drive process improvements in trade finance operations and implement system-based workflows, including platform-based solutions.

- Maintain strict compliance with RBI and FEMA regulations.
- Lead and manage a team of two resources responsible for day-to-day operations and adherence to turnaround times (TATs).
Skills
- In-depth knowledge of trade finance instruments and regulatory frameworks governing LCs, BGs, SBLCs, and Bills of Exchange.
- Familiarity with bank trade platforms and ERP integration technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex trade finance scenarios.
- Proficiency in MS Office and working knowledge of SAP Treasury Module.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with banks and internal stakeholders.
Experience
- Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant and/or postgraduate degree in Finance or Business Administration.
- Additional certifications in trade finance (e.g., Certified Documentary Credit Specialist) preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in trade finance, banking, or related fields.
- Exposure to manufacturing or renewable energy sectors is desirable.
