Location: Pune, India
Overview of the Role: We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer with expertise in front-end (React.js/Vue.js) and back-end development (Java/Node.js) to join our team. You will play a key role in developing and optimizing eCommerce and marketing applications while leading a team of engineers. The ideal candidate should have a passion for technology, strong leadership abilities, and hands-on experience in modern web development frameworks and architectures.
Key Responsibilities: - Partner with Product Managers to design and define new product features.
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 5-8 full stack and backend engineers .
- Write high-quality, reusable, and scalable code, adhering to coding standards .
- Influence the technical direction of the engineering team and collaborate on complex solutions involving multiple teams.
- Actively participate in Scrum meetings , including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives .
- Contribute to Communities-of-Practice and Continuous Education programs to enhance team knowledge and skill sets.
- Work on initiatives that directly impact the companys eCommerce and marketing strategy , contributing to over 50% of company sales .
- Ensure the implementation of UI performance and accessibility best practices for an enhanced user experience.
- Own critical domains and collaborate across teams to optimize web analytics, data instrumentation, and tracking .
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields (or equivalent work experience).
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS .
- 4+ years of experience working with React.js or Vue.js .
- 4+ years of backend development experience in Java or Node.js .
- Experience with TypeScript is highly desirable.
- Strong background in large-scale eCommerce systems and understanding of retail business dynamics.
- In-depth knowledge of UI performance optimization and accessibility best practices .
- Experience working with RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-based architectures .
- Proficiency in version control systems (Git, SVN) and CI/CD tools .
- Ability to mentor and lead development teams, providing guidance on best practices and system architecture.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven mindset .
- Work on high-impact eCommerce and marketing initiatives that contribute to the company s growth strategy .
