DevOps Engineer @ CGI

Job Description

• We are looking for an experienced Devops Engineer to join our team
• The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and developing scalable and high-performance applications
• You will work closely with our front-end developers, designers, and other members of the team to deliver quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients
• Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong 4-6 years experience as a DevOps Engineer with good communication skills
• Hands-on experience with Cloud/AWS, CI/CD automation, containerization, and infrastructure management
• Resources must be able to work independently with a positive attitude and passion to learn new technologies
• Primary Skill Set - DevOps Tools & Practices: CI/CD Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, AWS CodePipelineSource Control Git, GitHub, Bitbucket
• Build Tools Maven, GradleCloud & Infrastructure (AWS):AWS Services EC2, S3, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Containerization Docker, Kubernetes (EKS preferred), Serverless AWS Lambda (preferred)
• Automation & Configuration Management:Ansible, Chef, or Puppet, Shell / Python scripting for automation
• Monitoring and Logging CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana
• Testing & Deployment:Automated deployment and testing in CI/CD pipelines
• Integration with automated build/test frameworks (JUnit, Cucumber, etc
• Experience with blue-green or canary deployment strategies Agile & Collaboration: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environmentsFamiliar with DevSecOps principles and continuous improvement culture .
