Job Description
Position Description:- Over 5+ years of experience in provisioning, operations, and management of AWS environments
- Demonstrated competency with the following AWS services: ECS, EC2, ECR, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, QuickSight, CloudFront, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, SQS, ElastiCache, Lambda, Glue ETL , Dynamodb , Neptune , route53 , Application Load balancers , ECS , SQS
- Experience with Automating Testing and deployment pipelines using devops tools such as Jenkins
- Strong Data Engineering background with the ability to implement Spark based or AWS Lambda based or glue based ETL jobs Knowledge of operating system administration
- Experience in creation of highly automated infrastructures
- Comprehensive knowledge regarding contemporary processes and methodologies for development and operations
- Strong understanding of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements
- AWS Disaster Recovery design and deployment across regions a plus
- Experience with multi-tier architectures: load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, databases, and networking
- Experience in Cloud infrastructure (AWS) and automation of Infrastructure using Terraform, Step functions, event bridges, S3 development, IAM role management, lambdas or similar technologies
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Design, provision, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Develop and automate CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools such as Jenkins
- Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation
- Build and optimize serverless and container-based architectures using Lambda and ECS
- Implement secure and compliant cloud environments with IAM best practices
- Support ETL and data processing workflows using AWS Glue, Spark, and Lambda
- Monitor system performance using CloudWatch and ensure cost-efficient operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to deliver cloud solutions
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and networking issues across environments
- Support disaster recovery strategies and multi-region deployments
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Must Have:5+ years of experience in AWS Cloud Engineering / DevOps roles
- Hands-on expertise with key AWS services: ECS, EC2, ECR, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, SQS, ElastiCache, Lambda, DynamoDB, Route53
- Experience with CI/CD automation using Jenkins or similar DevOps tools
- Strong Infrastructure Automation skills using Terraform
- Experience with serverless architecture and event-driven services like EventBridge
- Strong understanding of Linux administration, networking, and security best practices
- Proven experience building ETL pipelines using AWS Glue or Apache Spark
- Good to Have:Experience with AWS Neptune and QuickSight
- Knowledge of multi-tier application architecture and caching mechanisms
- Exposure to Step Functions and automated data workflows
- Experience implementing AWS disaster recovery strategies
- AWS certifications (eg, Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder interaction skills
