Job Description

1.     Coordinate development of route plan for the MMU
2.     Provide preventive, promotive and curative health care and referral services to patients during MMU-OPDs and thematic health camps
3.     Document and maintain health records of patients as per project requirement
4.     Utilize, supervise and manage stock of medicines, healthcare products and reagents for regular MMU services and thematic health camps
5.     Supervise safe disposal of biomedical wastes
6.     Liaise and interact with other medical, non-medical staff, govt. health department officials and community members and create and maintain positive image of the organization and donor for the services delivered
7.     Network with other medical professionals/ specialists for special camps/activities
8.     Encourage health literacy amongst the target audience
9.     Supervise functions and quality of services of the MMU technical team
10.     Provide regular need-based technical training to MMU team

Core Clinical Skills

• Preventive, promotive, and curative healthcare services
• Diagnosis, treatment, and referral of patients during MMU-OPDs
• Conducting thematic health camps and outreach programs
• Maternal, child, and womens health services (ANC, PNC, family planning, anemia, menstrual health, etc.)
• Basic emergency management and first aid

Public Health & Community Health Skills

• Community-based healthcare delivery in rural/remote areas
• Counseling for women, adolescents, and children
• Health awareness on nutrition, hygiene, reproductive health, and NCDs
• Encouraging health literacy among female beneficiaries

Technical & Operational Skills

• Route planning and coordination for MMU operations
• Proper documentation and maintenance of patient health records
• Supervision and management of medicines, consumables, and reagents
• Ensuring infection control and biomedical waste management
