Deputy Medical Superintendent @ Paras Health

Job Description

Paras Hospital is hiring DMS for Udaipur location.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Medical Superintendent in overall medical administration of the hospital.
  
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH/NABL/JCI accreditation standards, and statutory regulations.
  
• Supervise daily functioning of clinical and non-clinical departments.
  
• Monitor duty rosters, attendance, and discipline of doctors and paramedical staff.
  
• Coordinate with Heads of Departments for clinical quality improvement and patient safety.
  
• Handle medico-legal cases and ensure proper documentation.
  
• Oversee infection control practices and biomedical waste management.
  
• Participate in recruitment, training, and appraisal of medical staff.
  
• Address patient grievances in coordination with clinical and administrative teams.
  
• Assist in emergency preparedness and disaster management planning.
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• MBBS or BDS equivalent qualification.
  
• Minimum 5- 12 years of hospital experience, with at least 2.5 years in a leadership/administrative role.
  
• Knowledge of healthcare laws, accreditation, and hospital operations.
