Role & responsibilities

Technical (Must Have)

• Develop automation frameworks from scratch
• Feasibility analysis & Proof of Concept (POC)
• Script development for Web, Mobile, API using Java in Selenium and Typescript in Playwright
• CI/CD integration for automation
• Create Test Strategy & Test Plan
• Build automation utilities
• Adapt to next-gen tools & approaches
• Leverage AI tools (e.g., Copilot) for automation

Management skills (Must Have)

• Team collaboration & leadership
• Excellent communication skills
• Build efficient teams
• Proactive approach

Expectations

• Lead automation initiatives to reduce manual testing effort by 40% in SIT.
• Ensure 100% test coverage through robust automation frameworks in Regression testing
• Drive automation roadmap aligned with organizational goals
• Mentor and upskill team members on next-gen automation tools
• Leverage AI tools like GitHub Copilot for accelerating script development
• Adopt modern frameworks
• Deliver automation solutions that reduce regression cycle time by 50%
