Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Assist in maintaining an accurate and up-to-date software inventory across the organization. Support license compliance activities and help identify discrepancies or potential risks. Collaborate with procurement teams to track software purchases and renewals. Help prepare documentation and reports for internal and external software audits. Monitor software usage to identify optimization opportunities and cost savings. Assist in implementing SAM best practices and process improvements. Provide support for SAM tools and maintain data accuracy within the system. Work closely with IT, finance, and vendor management teams for effective SAM operations. Mandatory Skills: Basic understanding of IT software and licensing concepts. Strong analytical and problemsolving skills. Proficiency in MS Excel and data handling. Detailoriented with strong documentation skills. Ability to learn SAM tools and IT asset management processes. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of Software Asset Management or IT Asset Management frameworks. Familiarity with SAM/ITAM tools such as ServiceNow, Flexera, or Snow (added advantage). Basic understanding of software procurement processes. Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Certification or coursework in ITAM/SAM (optional).Job Classification
