Doors and Closures BIW design and development

Job Description:

Product design and development Doors and Closures:
Development of BIW components and CAD Construction in NX with Daimler methodology.
Master section creation and validations, Benchmarking
Styling validation for technical requirement.
Concept proposal, Packaging study, Interference check.
Understanding of Door mechanisms, Glass, Hinges and Handles
Creation of joining elements for the assembly
Generating ideas for cost reduction and weight reduction
Ensure quality and timelines of every deliverables in the projects.
Discussion with cross functional teams (CFT) for incorporating feedback e.g., Simulation, Manufacturing, Vehicle integration, Corrosion protection and incorporating changes
Change Management

Qualifications -

BE Mechanical with min 3 years of experience in BIW Door and Closures
