Job Description
TCS is Hiring Middleware L2 Engineer For Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangalore location
Experience : 5 - 9 years

Location : Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangalore
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Must have:
- Hands-on experience with Linux/Windows server administration.
- Basic knowledge of middleware architecture, deployments, and logs.
- Understanding of SSL, ports, certificates, and networking basics.
- Familiarity with ticketing tools, monitoring tools, and patching processes.
- Ability to follow runbooks and SOPs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of middleware servers.
- Provide L2 operational support for middleware
- Platforms including:
- JBoss
- WebSphere
- Tomcat
- WebLogic
- IIS
- Monitor middleware health, logs, and performance; resolve incidents, alerts, and service requests.
- Handle ticket escalations from L1/OPS teams and provide timely resolution.
- Provide day-to-day support, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting for IIS-hosted, JSP-hosted applications, websites, and applications pools.
- Execute patching activities using defined automation or procedures.
- Maintain middleware inventory and configuration details.
- Follow SOPs, change management, and security compliance guidelines.
- Participate in overnight on-call and shift support rotations.
- Assist in application certification testing on middleware platforms.
- Provide basic troubleshooting and root cause analysis for recurring issues.
