Java Aws Developer @ Capgemini

Job Description

Role & responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• Build and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS (Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.).
• Implement microservices architecture and event-driven systems using SNS/SQS, Kafka, or Kinesis.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, Redis.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab CI.
• Use IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure provisioning.
• Perform code reviews, improve code quality, and follow clean coding standards.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and product teams for endtoend delivery.
• Ensure security best practices, logging, monitoring, and performance tuning.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong programming experience in Java 8+, Spring Boot, JPA, and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, ECS/EKS).
• Deep understanding of RESTful services, asynchronous communication, and messaging queues.
• Good knowledge of containers: Docker, Kubernetes (good to have).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and build tools (Maven/Gradle).
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problemsolving skills.
• Experience with monitoring & logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK, Grafana, etc.).

Good to Have

• Experience with serverless architectures (Lambda, Step Functions).
• Knowledge of caching frameworks (Redis, Hazelcast).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Understanding of security standards (OAuth2, JWT, OWASP).
