Job Description:

Position: Medical Coder

Medical coding is the process of translating patient health information, such as diagnoses, procedures, and medical services, into universal alphanumeric codes. These codes are then used for medical billing, research, health statistics, and to track patient outcomes. Key coding systems include the International Classification of Diseases (ICD) for diagnoses, and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) codes for services and procedures. .
