Homologation Engineer -Electric Vehicle (EV) Compliance

Job Role - Responsible for Battery Development and Validation for Electric 2-Wheeler & Homologation

Academic Qualification

ME/ M Tech/MS/BE/B Tech with industry (OEM or test agency) experience of 3-5 years in Indian and/or International homologation processes.

3-5 Years

Location - Hyderabad, Telangana

Roles & Responsibilities:

To derive and deploy applicable regulatory requirements for across product line.

Work with design/ system owners to convert homologation and regulatory requirements into design actions across the systems.

Develop, Upgrade, and maintain a continuous communication system for regulatory requirements flow.

Work closely with respective stakeholders across the functions to ensure compliance of certified products

Participate and represent PTG in various regulatory meetings/ committees

Plan, manage and achieve Homologation certification for PTG projects. Work closely with vehicle build and validation teams to conduct pre-homologation activities

Maintain a reckoner to ensure proper program management of all things related to Homologation Design, Dev and Validation

Work with the operations (Sourcing) teams to ensure vendor developed components comply with regulations

Guidance on design selection for compliance and sustenance

Lead and develop continuous monitoring mechanisms for regulatory compliance

Researching and creating the relevant reports to push/ preparedness for new regulations.

Deliverables:

In-depth understanding of regulatory framework and implementation processes - Indian and International.

Expertise to assess impact of proposed changes/ new regulation on business plans

Experience in working with test agencies and certification bodies.

End- to -end vehicle homologation process and continuity requirements

Components and vehicle COP process and adherence methodology
