Position Title: Sr. Software Engineer ( GenAI, Node, Python )

Job Description (Job Summary/Roles & Responsibilities)
- We are seeking a highly qualified Machine Learning Engineer with advanced academic training (PhD or masters in data science/Machine Learning) and hands-on expertise in fine-tuning transformer models and Small Language Models (SLMs). The candidate will play a pivotal role in building, testing, and deploying enterprise-grade AI solutions using modern cloud ML platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Fine-tune transformer-based models and Small Language Models for enterprise applications.
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks to validate model performance and reliability.
- Deploy and manage ML workflows using AWS Sagemaker, Google Vertex AI, or Azure ML.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, engineers, product managers) to deliver scalable AI solutions.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise standards for security, scalability, and performance.
- Document processes, experiments, and results to support knowledge sharing and reproducibility
Mandatory Skills
- PhD or masters degree in data science, Machine Learning, or related field.
- Hands-on experience fine-tuning transformer models and/or SLMs.
- Strong background in developing automated testing frameworks for ML models.
- Proficiency with cloud ML tooling: AWS Sagemaker, Google Vertex AI, Azure ML.
- Minimum 2+ years of enterprise experience (beyond academic research).
- Solid programming skills in Python and familiarity with ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of distributed training and optimization techniques.
- Experience with MLOps practices (CI/CD for ML, monitoring, retraining pipelines).
- Familiarity with data engineering workflows and large-scale data handling.
- Publications or contributions to open-source ML projects.

Masters in computer science (AI/ML)
