Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced DevOps Project Manager to lead and deliver enterprise-scale DevOps and cloud transformation initiatives across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. The role requires strong project management expertise combined with deep knowledge of DevOps practices, automation, and multi-cloud environments. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders, engineering teams, and vendors to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of strategic programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end DevOps and cloud transformation projects across multi-cloud platforms
- Define project scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverables aligned with business goals
- Manage cross-functional teams including DevOps, Cloud, Development, QA, Security, and Operations
- Drive CI/CD strategy, implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation and cloud automation programs
- Drive cloud cost optimization and FinOps initiatives
- Track and report KPIs, SLAs, SLOs, and DevOps performance metrics
- Support incident, problem, and escalation management for production environments
- Lead Agile ceremonies and ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Mentor and guide DevOps engineers, technical leads, and project teams
- Promote automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Contribute to strategic planning and long-term DevOps roadmap development.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in DevOps and cloud-driven environments
- Strong working knowledge of AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
- Expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, and Azure DevOps
- Hands-on understanding of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, IAM, and security models
- Knowledge of DevSecOps principles and security integration practices
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, cloud-native tools)
- Strong Agile, Scrum, and delivery management experience
- Experience in cloud cost management and optimization
- Ability to work in high-availability, enterprise environments
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and influencing skills.
Preferred Certifications
- Cloud certifications preferred (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect).
- DevOps and cloud delivery certifications are a plus (e.g., AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
- Project management certifications preferred (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, SAFe Agilist, Certified Scrum Master).
- Kubernetes and container certifications are a plus (e.g., CKA, CKAD).
