Job Description
Apple Jamf Pro Administrator:
The Jamf L3 Engineer provides advanced Apple device management support, including patching strategy execution, compliance enforcement, and complex troubleshooting aligned to CLIENT standards.
- Own end to end JAMF Pro platform strategy, architecture, and governance Design and implement complex policies and workflows
- Design and govern DEP/ABM workflows, device provisioning models, patching strategies, and lifecycle standards
- Design and enforce security, compliance, and configuration baselines for Apple endpoints.
- Partner with InfoSec, Risk, and Audit teams to meet regulatory and enterprise security requirements.
- Lead change management, including JAMF upgrades, migrations, and new feature rollouts
- Automate macOS builds, patching, and compliance
- Troubleshoot advanced Jamf and macOS issues
- Integrate Jamf with Apple Business Manager and IdP
- Lead Jamf upgrades and platform enhancements
- Perform root cause analysis and preventive actions
- Mentor L2 engineers and review escalations
- Maintain documentation and technical standards
- Coordinate with Apple and Jamf vendors
- Provide documented release and patch deployment process and related standards and policies
- Provide monthly reporting on patches installation and compliance status
- Participate in change control meetings, providing technical and service-based recommendations on applicability of potential patches
- Provide secured repository for software license keys and certification management
- Build and present dashboards and reports on compliance, device health, incidents, and user experience
Mandatory Requirements:
- Deep expertise in JAMF Pro and enterprise Apple device management.
- Strong understanding of macOS/iOS security, compliance, and lifecycle management
- Good communication skills, Hybrid Work set-up in Pune, should be willing to do Overtime and work on holidays if required and be on stand-by for on call support
