Role & responsibilities
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Applications Support Specialist to support a suite of engineering and construction project management tools, including Prolog, ProjectSight, CostX, and other related applications. This role is ideal for someone who understands construction workflows, enjoys solving technical challenges, and can partner closely with project teams to ensure smooth system operations and highquality user experience.
Key Responsibilities
Prolog Support & Administration
- Provide Tier 2/3 production support for the Prolog application, ensuring system stability and timely issue resolution.
- Troubleshoot complex workflow issues, configuration problems, and performance concerns.
- Administer and configure Prolog modules, including cost control, document management, RFIs, submittals, contracts, and custom workflows.
- Create, maintain, and optimize custom fields, templates, and reports to meet projectspecific reporting and data tracking needs.
Application Support (ProjectSight, CostX, and Other Tools)
- Deliver daytoday support for ProjectSight, CostX, and other construction technology platforms.
- Diagnose and resolve userreported issues, ensuring minimal disruption to project teams.
- Manage support tickets through ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
- Coordinate with software vendors for escalations and advanced troubleshooting.
System Administration & Configuration
- Configure application settings, user permissions, workflows, templates, and project structures across supported platforms.
- Support system upgrades, patches, testing, and new feature rollouts.
- Assist with data imports/exports, integrations, and environment setup.
User Enablement & Training
- Provide handson support, coaching, and guidance to end users across engineering and construction teams.
- Develop training materials, quickreference guides, and bestpractice documentation.
- Conduct onboarding and refresher training sessions for new tools or features.
Data & Reporting
- Support data validation, quality checks, and reconciliation across project systems.
- Assist in generating reports, dashboards, and analytics for project controls and management teams.
- Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into system outputs.
CrossFunctional Collaboration
- Partner with project managers, estimators, engineers, and finance teams to understand workflows and system requirements.
- Collaborate with internal IT and development teams to support integrations, enhancements, and process improvements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system usage and user experience.
