Job Description
Role & responsibilities
This Position will be part of Propulsion, APS and TCMS supply Project Organization mainly based in Bangalore and based out of Bangalore, other locations depend on the project phases such as design review, testing phase etc. Candidate will be responsible for preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring the assigned engineering project.
- Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
- Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field.
- Interface between TCMS and subsystems including signalling for ensuring the quality of the software deliverables of both TCMS and subsystems.
- Prepare and review design documents, test specifications with respect to the design requirements collected from the customer.
- Support the T&C team during tests by providing technical information.
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
- Requirement management.
- Managing all factories progress and deliverables.
Preferred candidate profile
- Proven working experience as a project engineer or relevant experience like general consultant etc.
- Project management and supervision skills.
- Decision making ability and leadership skills.
- Time management and organization skills.
- Requirement management.
- Working experience with Japanese/European engineers is an added advantage.
- Bachelor of Electrical or electronics or communication degree in Engineering is preferred.
Beneficial Skills:
- Working experience in the design / commissioning of RSC GUI and TCMS data server will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of SDTV2 data packets and Safety Integrity Levels (SIL) is an advantage.
