Test Planning & Execution

• Understand project requirements and functional specifications

• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios

• Execute manual test cases to identify defects and ensure product quality

• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing

Defect Management

• Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar

• Work closely with developers to reproduce issues and verify fixes

• Retest resolved defects to ensure proper functionality

Quality Assurance Processes

• Ensure applications meet quality standards and business requirements

• Follow QA methodologies, standards, and best practices

• Participate in reviews of requirements and design documents

User Experience & Usability

• Perform usability and user acceptance testing (UAT)

• Provide feedback to improve application performance and user experience

Collaboration & Reporting

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for issue resolution

• Report test progress, defect status, and quality metrics

• Communicate risks and quality concerns to stakeholders
