Job Description

Role & responsibilities :

An experienced Automation Test Engineer with expertise in Linux (RHEL) environments and hands-on automation experience for QT-based desktop applications. The engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining an automated test framework to validate a C++/QT application being upgraded from RHEL6 to RHEL9. The role requires strong knowledge of Linux GUI automation tools, QT object models and end-to-end testing practices.

• Design and implement automated test scripts for QT/QML/QT Widgets based applications running on RHEL9 using Squish for QT or similar tools
• 7-10 years of experience in automation testing for desktop or GUI applications (Linux)
• Strong knowledge of QT application testing (QT Widgets/QML/QT Quick)
• Proficiency in Squish for QT (preferred) or similar tools
• Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix environments
