Job Description
- Manage day-to-day accounting entries and financial transactions
- Handle accounts payable & receivable, especially distributor and retailer accounts
- Maintain and reconcile stock and inventory accounts
- Process invoices, debit/credit notes, and payment collections
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations regularly
- Track sales, schemes, and discounts accounting (common in FMCG)
- Assist in GST, TDS filings, and statutory compliance
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities
- Coordinate with sales, warehouse, and logistics teams for accurate reporting
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with distributors
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Familiarity with FMCG business processes (distribution, inventory, schemes)
- Proficiency in Tally / SAP / ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred)
- High attention to detail and ability to handle large data volumes
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- B.Com / M.Com / Finance degree
- 24 years of experience in FMCG or related high-volume industry
- Experience handling distributor accounting & stock reconciliation
- Knowledge of GST compliance in FMCG sector
- Exposure to audit and financial reporting
