Job Description
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years Python engineering experience, hands-on LLM/RAG work, familiarity with Redis or similar cache and a durable DB, REST APIs and CI/CD; preferred: experience with orchestration libraries (e.g., LangChain), vector indexes (FAISS/Milvus), and cloud platforms
Primary Responsibilities:
- Build production generative-AI agents and retrieval-augmented pipelines to power multi-turn conversational workflows using Python and agent orchestration patterns
- Mentor the team in building and implementing AI agents
- Implement one-question-at-a-time dialog flows and server-side context storage using a fast cache (e.g., Redis) and a durable database/checkpoint store
- Do prompt engineering, automated evaluation, and implement safety guardrails to reduce hallucinations and ensure reliable outputs
- Integrate with chatbots and other services (agent-to-agent patterns), including provenance/correlation headers and idempotent submit actions
- Deliver cloud-native services (serverless or containers), use containerization (Docker) and CI/CD for deployments
- Write tests (pytest or similar), add telemetry/tracing, and monitor system and model behavior for performance and drift
- Follow security and compliance best practices: data minimization, access controls, encrypted audit trails, and secure secret management
- Works with less structured, more complex issues
