Position Summary
Level: Hyperion P&E Senior Consultant - Lead Developer
As a Senior Consultant at Client Consulting, you will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale software solutions, lead the creation of robust pipelines and manage code deployment across environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional, global teams to translate functional requirements into effective deliverables, independently guiding and mentoring junior team members. Your role spans the full project lifecycle, including estimation, planning, execution, and tracking key metrics for analysis, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of solutions.
Work youll do
- As a Senior Consultant in Clients Planning/EPBCS/PBCS/PCMCS team, you will:
- Lead end-to-end design and development of Hyperion Planning, Essbase, PBCS, EPBCS, and PCMCS applications
- Drive requirement gathering, delivery planning, and risk assessment for complex client engagements
- Ensure technical excellence and high-quality outcomes across all project phases
- Proactively identify, address, and escalate issues to maintain project momentum
- Collaborate with leads, onsite teams, and stakeholders to resolve challenges and optimize solutions
- Oversee activities from initial requirements through Hypercare support
- Work independently and mentor junior team members, providing technical and functional guidance
- Strengthen client relationships and deliver impactful finance technology solutions
Qualifications
Must Have:
- 6-10 years hands-on experience with Hyperion Planning, Essbase, Oracle PBCS/EPBCS
- Demonstrated success delivering projects in EPM Suite 11.x, PBCS, EPBCS, PCMCS
- Advanced expertise in ASO/BSO cube development and MDX calculations
- Proficient in designing and customizing business and allocation rules
- Strong skills in developing complex reports using Financial Reporting Studio/Web Studio
- Integration experience with FDMEE/Data Management
- Ability to perform cost-benefit analysis for solution design and delivery
- Skilled in user provisioning and security setup via Shared Services
Good to Have:
- Experience with prototyping, solution enhancements, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with EPM Automate, Batch/Shell, and Groovy scripting
- Knowledge of data and metadata management in EPBCS/PBCS
- Exposure to EPRCS or third-party reporting tools
Education:
- CA/BE/B.Tech/M.C. A/M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
