Overview of Position
We are seeking a Quality Analyst to focus on building test cases, handling manual testing, and executing regression testing to maintain software quality standards.
The role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal software performance
Essential Functions
- Create, maintain, and execute manual test cases based on business requirements
- Perform regression testing to verify software stability after updates
- Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
- Work closely with developers and product teams to ensure quality standards are met
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve software usability and functionality
- Participate in sprint planning and requirement analysis to ensure test coverage
Critical Skills
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies
- Familiarity with manual testing, test case development , and regression testing
- Excellent problem solving & analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work in a fast- paced, agile development environment
- Test case creation, functional testing, smoke & sanity testing, regression testing. Good to have: API testing.
- Strong understanding of IT quality standards, clear communication skills, JIRA & Confluence.
Educational/Work Experience
Requirements
- Must have 2+ years of experience in Manual Testing
- Experience in test case creation and regression testing
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and version control systems is beneficial
- Bachelors degree in computer science, IT (or) related field
