Job Description
Position: Engineer/Senior Engineer-Electrical
Location: Pan India (Site Job)
Qualification: B.Tech in Electrical Engineering/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering
No of Posts- 3
Work Experience: 3-7 years of solar project execution, including ground mount projects of 100 MWp+ capacities including work such as Transformer installation and Testing, Inverter Installation and Testing, HT Panel & T/L erection Testing and commissioning, etc.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise Solar PV installation at client sites, which includes Civil, Mechanical and Electrical tasks.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant project specifications and as per Indian Standards applicable for Electrical works.
- Liaise with Project Manager to raise necessary issues related to Electrical works and as per requirement.
- Handhold client representative and be able to execute complex projects based on engineering drawings.
- Extensive knowledge on proper mounting and installation of Module Mounting Structure, Solar Modules, Inverters, Transformers, Combiner Box and other Electrical equipments.
- Ability to develop and follow Quality Assurance plans aimed zero deviations from work plan and methodology.
- Complete testing and troubleshooting of solar energy systems to ensure it is working appropriately.
- Responsible to manage sub-contractors to ensure the project scope awarded is built in conformance with the plans, specifications schedule and budget.
- Supervise, coordinate, and direct site staff.
- Willingness to do whatever it takes to accomplish an objective related to solar plant Execution and Successful commissioning.
- Strong Safety orientation and ability to monitor record and maintain site/project specific safety records.
- Ability to document and report job progress clearly and submit reports to management regularly.
- Should have knowledge of basic tools like Clamp-meter, multi-meter, megger etc.
- Should have Sound knowledge of Solar Modules, Inverter, IDT, HT Panel, LT Panel and other Electrical equipments. Should be well versed with the Testing of electrical equipments and commissioning of solar plants.
