Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with 8 to 10 years of experience to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Amazon S3 AWS Cloud Formation AWS Virtual Private Network AWS EC2 AWS CloudFront AWS Route53 and AWS Elastic Load Balancing. Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus. This role involves designing implementing and managing cloud solutions to enhance our business operations.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and secure cloud solutions using AWS services to meet business requirements.
- Oversee the deployment and management of AWS resources such as Amazon S3 AWS EC2 and AWS CloudFront to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide expertise in AWS Cloud Formation to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Manage AWS Virtual Private Network configurations to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.
- Utilize AWS Route53 for efficient domain name management and routing of internet traffic.
- Implement AWS Elastic Load Balancing to distribute incoming application traffic across multiple targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing systems and applications.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency and performance improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
- Stay updated with the latest AWS technologies and best practices to drive innovation.
- Contribute to the development of cloud security policies and procedures to protect company data.
- Support the migration of on-premises applications to the cloud ensuring minimal disruption.
- Document cloud architecture and processes for knowledge sharing and future reference.
Qualifications
- Possess strong technical skills in Amazon S3 AWS Cloud Formation AWS Virtual Private Network AWS EC2 AWS CloudFront AWS Route53 and AWS Elastic Load Balancing.
- Demonstrate experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions in a hybrid work environment.
- Exhibit knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance domain is a nice to have.
- Showcase ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Display excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Maintain a proactive approach to learning and applying new cloud technologies.
- Have strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Certifications Required
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer preferred
