Opening for Manager-Procurement for a Leading Life Insurance company

Job Title: Manager-Procurement
Location: Mumbai
Experience: We are looking forManager - procurementhaving relevant experience inadmin - infra procurement.

1)Min 3 to 4 years of experience in Procurement ( knowledge of Admin infra procurement)

2)Preferred from Life Industry only

3)Communications skills (basic English is fine but needs to be fluent)

4)Good with Excel and PPT

Job Description:
  • Responsible for property identificationand conduction of the investigation onvarious government necessities including (due diligence)
  • Executingprojectswhile handling their scheduling & budgeting activities andensuringtheir timely deliveryby monitoring progress of the work
  • Selecting the site foropening spoke & branch in Mumbairegion alongwith the landlord tofinalize the agreement
  • AssigningArchitect for the site and approving the layout plan of the site &purchaseorders toraise the requisition
  • Finalizingsite and handingover the same to sales along with installation of lease lines & all the day zero equipment; managingMIS of the Architect to evaluate theperformance
  • Formulatinginnovativeadministrative strategies to ensure smooth execution oftasks assigned by the management
  • Receiving & maintaininga proper merchandise assortment related to office requirements (stationary) & pantry items involvingfixed assets, electrical, general, hardware & software,while ordering & handling the related costs
  • Liaising with Legal Department &landlords forlegal cases related to vacationof office premises.
  • Looking after renovation work ofexisting set-up as per the requirements & demand of time; handling vacation of the premises & equipment resale in vacation in coordinationwith theArchitectfor the drawing /layout plans
  • Assuring the proper upkeep of the facility,while managing healthy businessrelationship with the landlord
  • Workingon spaceplanning & allocation of seats and assuringcleanliness & hygiene condition of the facilities along withwaste disposal management
  • Overseeing operations & maintenance of alloffice automation and electrical equipmentsuch asControl Panel,ServoStabilizer, DG Sets, UPS,FireAlarmPanel, HVAC System &other electrical &engineering machines.
  • Interfacing with different departments to handlethe maintenance of all equipment,ensuretimely deliveryof new equipment and enhancethe overall efficiency in the organization
  • Establishinga vendor base for cost effectiveprocurementof office material and negotiatingwith AMCs for maintenance of electrical equipment &vendor rating by developing of score card metrics for continual improvement
  • Actively involved in reconciliation andinvoices & agreements to ensuretimely payments
  • Supervisingthe process ofpurchase,products, selected vendors, negotiationsandpurchaseorders
  • Interactingthe vendors for materialprocurementwhile liaising with the higher authorities of thecompany as perstatutory & company compliance
  • Support toHR & Eventdepartmentfor Major event execution of Organization.
