Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Solution Design and Implementation
- Lead design, configuration, and deployment of SAP SD solutions across ECC and S/4HANA landscapes, including S/4HANA Cloud and RISE with SAP scenarios.
- Define target O2C process blueprints covering sales order management, pricing, billing, delivery, shipping, credit management, returns, taxation, and intercompany processes.
Migration and Transformation
- Lead SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration projects, including brownfield and selective data transition approaches; drive migration strategy, cutover planning, and execution.
- Preferable experience delivering migrations on RISE with SAP including scope definition, cloud readiness, partner coordination, and postmigration validation.
- Oversee data migration activities, mapping legacy ECC master and transactional data to S/4HANA data models and ensuring data quality and reconciliation.
Integration and Technical Collaboration
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP SD and other modules (IS-Oil, Pricing Engines, MM, FICO, WM/EWM, TM, CS), taxation applications, and thirdparty systems using SAP BTP, APIs, IDocs, and middleware.
- Work closely with BASIS, HANA, and cloud architects to align functional design with technical architecture, performance, and security requirements.
Testing, Cutover, and Stabilization
- Define and drive system testing strategy, UAT, cutover rehearsals, and golive support; lead issue triage and resolution during hypercare.
- Implement regression testing, automated test scripts, and validation checks for migrated processes.
Adoption, Governance, and Continuous Improvement
- Develop training materials, conduct enduser training, and enable business process owners.
- Establish O2C governance, process KPIs, and continuous improvement roadmaps to optimize order throughput, billing accuracy, and cash collection.
- Stay current with SAP innovations (Fiori, CAP, BTP, S/4HANA Cloud capabilities) and recommend pragmatic adoption paths.
Basic Qualifications:
- 1012 years of overall SAP experience with 10+ years in OrdertoCash / SAP SD (including Service) functional roles.
- Proven track record leading SAP ECC to S/4HANA migrations, including handson experience with data conversion, custom code remediation, and cutover execution. Hands-on experience / detailed understanding about S/4HANA Readiness Check.
- Direct experience with RISE with SAP deployments is strongly preferred.
- Deep functional expertise in SAP SD processes: sales order management, pricing and condition techniques, billing (FISD integration), delivery and shipping, returns, and credit management.
- Handson experience with SAP S/4HANA (onpremise and cloud), SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and SAP Fiori for O2C user experiences.
- Strong experience in integration patterns between SD and MM, FI/CO, WM/EWM, TM,IS-Oil and external Tax / Pricing engines.
- Demonstrated ability to lead crossfunctional teams, manage stakeholders, and deliver complex programs on schedule.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
- Excellent communication and client engagement skills.
Preferred candidate profile
- SAP SD Certification and/or S/4HANA functional certifications.
- Understanding for SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), SAP Restful ABAP Programming Model (RAP), SAP Fiori app configuration, and BTP extension scenarios.
- Familiarity with selective data transition tools (e.g., SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, LTMC, LSMW alternatives) and experience with custom code adaptation for S/4HANA.
- Exposure to agile delivery methods and DevOps practices for SAP (CI/CD for transports, automated testing).
- Experience working with Hyperscaler cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) in RISE or PMC contexts.
- Strong analytical skills and a track record of driving process KPIs (order cycle time, billing accuracy, DSO improvements).
