1. ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead execution of architectural finishing,
interior fit-outs, faade works, and associated MEP coordination for elevated metro stations
under MMRDA.
The role requires end-to-end ownership of:
Planning
Design coordination
Execution
Client interface
Commercial control
This is a high-stakes infrastructure project role involving coordination with multiple
stakeholders including consultants, system contractors, and government authorities.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Project Planning & Execution
Lead overall project execution for multiple stations simultaneously
Develop and manage:
- Baseline programme
- Rolling schedules
- Resource deployment plans
- Ensure adherence to:
- Project timelines (15-month cycle)
- Milestones and deliverables
B. Design & Drawing Coordination
Oversee:
- Shop drawings
- Working drawings
- As-built drawings
Coordinate between:
- Architects
- Structural teams
- MEP/System contractors
Ensure:
- Timely approvals (NOCs)
- Clash-free execution
C. Site Management
Supervise:
- Site engineers
- Supervisors
- Subcontractors
Ensure:
- Quality execution as per specifications
- Compliance with approved materials and methods
Monitor:
- Daily progress
- Productivity
D. Client & Consultant Interface
Act as primary point of contact for:
- MMRDA
- AICA Consortium (GC)
Lead:
- Progress review meetings
- Coordination meetings
Handle:
- RFIs
- Technical clarifications
E. Commercial & Contract Management
Track:
- BOQ vs actual work
- Cost overruns
Identify:
- Non-BOQ items
- Variation opportunities
Prepare:
- Claims
- Supporting documentation
Ensure:
- Monthly billing and cash flow
F. Quality Assurance & Compliance
Implement:
- QA/QC systems
Ensure:
- Material approvals
- Mock-ups
- Testing compliance
Maintain:
- Inspection records
- Quality documentation
G. Safety & Regulatory Compliance
Ensure adherence to:
- Safety standards (SHE requirements)
- Labour laws
Monitor:
- Site safety practices
- Incident reporting
H. Risk & Issue Management
Identify:
- Execution risks
- Design conflicts
Resolve:
- Site constraints
- Coordination issues
Escalate critical issues proactively
3. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
- PMP / Construction Management certification (Preferred)
4. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
1218 years of total experience
Minimum 57 years as Project Manager
Must have handled:
- Large infrastructure projects (100+ Cr)
- Finishing / fit-out / faade works
Experience in:
- Metro / Rail / Airport projects (Highly Preferred)
5. TECHNICAL SKILLS
Strong understanding of:
- Architectural finishing works
- BOQ-based contracts
- Design-build projects
Familiarity with:
- CPWD specifications
- IS codes
Software:
- MS Project / Primavera
- AutoCAD
- Excel (advanced)
6. CORE COMPETENCIES
