Job Description: Salesforce Lightning Developer
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Lightning Developer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in developing using the Salesforce Lightning web component framework. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing user-friendly and scalable solutions to enhance end user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and customize Salesforce Lightning components to meet business requirements.
- Build responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components.
- Implement and configure community features such as self-service portals, knowledge bases, case management, and collaboration tools.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using APIs, web services, or middleware (e.g., REST/SOAP).
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, admins, and end-users, to gather and analyze requirements.
- Ensure seamless user experience by optimizing community performance, accessibility, and security.
- Customize community templates, themes, and branding to align with organizational guidelines.
- Implement Salesforce security best practices, including sharing rules, profiles, and roles for community users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to community functionality and performance.
- Stay updated on Salesforce features, releases, and best practices to recommend improvements.
- Document technical designs, configurations, and processes for future reference.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience developing Salesforce solutions.
- Proficiency in Salesforce Lightning framework, including Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration, including objects, workflows, process builder, and flows.
- Experience with Apex, SOQL, and Visualforce for custom development.
- Familiarity with Salesforce security models, including sharing settings and user management for communities.
- Understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via APIs or third-party tools.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform Developer I and JavaScript Developer.
- Experience with Salesforce CMS, Audience Targeting, or Einstein Analytics for communities.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with tools like VS Code, Salesforce CLI, or other DevOps tools for Salesforce development.
- Hands on github deployments
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
