Software Engineering Manager @ Experian

• This position is part of the Experian Housing Engineering team, concentrating on engineering, architecture development of unified platform solutions, new product prototyping, reporting to the Director of Engineering
• Handson technologist with experience in AWS and Generative AI tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex), demonstrating an AIfirst approach in recent projects to enhance productivity and accelerate the SDLC
• You will lead product engineering teams, fostering a culture of Engineering Excellence, and mentor and develop teams to align with business strategy.
• Collaborate with Experian platform and AI teams and peer engineering leaders across business units to align on shared patterns, reuse capabilities, and contribute to group-wide AI strategy.
• You will be accountable for Housing Product Deliveries, using metrics to track project health and aligning with other business units for cross-BU delivery.
• You will manage and reduce TCO through simplification, automation, and optimizations.
• You will manage the Security Dashboard for Housing Products, ensuring you address vulnerabilities within the risk appetite and managing operational and delivery risk.
• You will use metrics to drive continuous improvement and reduce tech debt, fostering a culture of improvement.
• You will contribute to Housing Revenue by delivering cost-effective, high-quality engineering and supporting Agile methods to drive business outcomes.
• You will develop and implement a delivery model for rapid concept testing and act as a business change driver, contributing to the Technology Roadmap for future growth.
