Snowflake Solutions Architect @ Marlabs Software

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Architect end-to-end Snowflake solutions, including data modeling, ingestion, transformation, and consumption layers.

Define and enforce Snowflake best practices for performance tuning, cost optimization, scalability, and security.

Design ELT/ETL frameworks integrating diverse data sources:

APIs (customer platforms)

ERP systems (SAP, Dynamics 365)

HR systems (Workday, Kronos)

Database replication and cloud storage (AWS S3, Azure ADLS)

Lead the implementation of data governance, lineage, and metadata management strategies.

Collaborate with enterprise architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.

Guide CI/CD practices, version control, and automated deployment pipelines for Snowflake assets.

Evaluate and integrate third-party tools for orchestration, monitoring, and transformation.

Preferred candidate profile

5+ years of experience as a Snowflake Architect or Senior Data Engineer with architectural responsibilities.

Hands-on expertise in Snowflake design, optimization, and implementation (greenfield preferred).

Strong understanding of cloud ecosystems (AWS and Azure) and hybrid data integration.

Experience with enterprise data sources including ERP, HR, and operational systems.

Deep knowledge of data modeling (dimensional, normalized), security, and governance in Snowflake.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
