Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) applications
- Implement and customize Vulnerability Response , Security Incident Response , and Threat Intelligence modules
- Integrate ServiceNow SecOps with security tools (e. g. , scanners, SIEM, EDR, SOAR platforms)
- Build workflows, Flow Designer logic, business rules, scripts, UI policies, and dashboards
- Customize data models, forms, reports, and performance analytics for security use cases
- Automate risk scoring, vulnerability prioritization, and remediation workflows
- Support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and data imports
- Collaborate with security analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure solutions follow ServiceNow best practices, performance standards, and security controls
- Support platform upgrades, patching, and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of ServiceNow development experience
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SecOps modules
- Strong scripting skills in JavaScript (Glide API, Script Includes, Business Rules)
- Experience with Flow Designer , IntegrationHub, and REST APIs
- Understanding of cybersecurity concepts: vulnerabilities, incidents, threat intelligence, CVSS, risk scoring
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party security tools
- Ability to work closely with security and IT teams in an agile environment
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS SecOps, CAD)
- Experience with GRC , IR , or VR implementations
- Familiarity with security tools such as Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7, Splunk, CrowdStrike, or similar
- Experience with Performance Analytics and custom dashboards
- Knowledge of ITSM, CMDB, and asset management within ServiceNow
